Festival Location

The Bell Huntsville Dragon Festival is held each year at Huntsville’s beautiful Avery Beach. Avery Beach is located at the foot of Young Street on Hunter’s Bay. This site’s natural amphitheatre offers many vantage points to view the race in either shade or sunny beach area. The Hunter’s Bay walking trail that runs the entire length of Hunter’s Bay passes right through Avery Beach.

Since there is no parking available at Avery Beach, we encourage everyone to utilize one of the offsite parking lots and use the free shuttle bus service.

Parking on street system around venue is limited. Please do not block access to private property as you will be ticketed and towed. Limited handicap parking on site is available.
